ADMT model version 2

This is the product Mr Irfan said he would be more impressed by. It is an elderly friendly plug remover. As elderly are not very strong, they have difficulty removing plugs from sockets. This product makes use of the lever system to help the elderly remove the plug.

ADMT model version 1

this is supposed to be an elderly friendly handphone. It has a large screen, large buttons and an elderly friendly charging port which is supposed to make it easy for the elderly to plug in the charging cable.
However, Mr Irfan said not to make things too complicated and that a handphone was not very different from other students. He then suggested something he would like more.

The house should enable the elderly to live a normal life with their family. There should be a wide range of housing to meet the elderly’s needs. Homes should be catered to all ages.

Homes should be accessible to the elderly. They should be able to reach their homes with ease. Lifts, walkways and pick up points should be built.

Seniors should have good healthcare and for those who cannot live alone, there should be old folks homes.

There should be opportunities for the elderly so they can have good relationships with their families and friends. People of all ages should have a good attitude to the seniors.

They are planning to make housing more accessible to the elderly population.

We can cut back on the less nessacary things and keep the important things of a good quality.

Hospitals should hire cheap workers to keep the bill low.

I can help the elderly preform tasks and encourace others to have a good attitude towards the elderly. I can also design things to help the ellderly.

1) how can we make it easier for the elderly to move around?
We should make public places such as shopping centers have ramps. places like HDB flats should also have ramps and lifts stopping at every floor to help the elderly.
2)How can we help the elderly live safely at home?
we should install handrails in their rooms. there should be enhanced security and ways to detect when the elderly person has fallen down.
3)how can we make the younger generation accept the elderly?
we can educate the younger generation on the eldery's problems. we can also hold family days for the elderly to spend the day with their family members.

1) The shopping trolley is unable to be maneuvered into tight spots. It is also unsafe for children sitting in the foldable seat in the trolley. The current trolley also looks quite ugly.
2) The company does not reject even the wildest ideas when they are brainstorming. the employes are not ranked according to how senior they are. The jobs they do are given to them according to what they are good at.
3) The company encourages their employes to design their own work space according to what they like. They also say that the job should be fun.
4) I think that the different rooms can have things hanging from the celling .

We have spotted 2 major problems on the conservation of electricity and water.
3 potential areas are getting people to understand how precious water is, getting people to use less electricity and to use energy efficient appliances instead of standard electrical appliances.
We can show people pictures of melting ice and make animations on why we should use more eco-friendly appliances.
We can come with prototypes of simple eco friendly devices to show people

Singapore is importing natural gas from nearby countries. This would be used to power some of the vehicles on the road. However, Singapore still depends on crude oil imports from other parts of the world.A possible renewable energy source is solar power.Singapore is a hot country, there is lots of sunlight. Thus solar power is a potential energy source in Singapore.
Research is trying to find information on a certain topic.Information can be found on the internet or the library.
I think research is important as it is a good way of getting the information we need.
Good research should have the correct information, and provide the correct information.
